![]() Caring with Compassion Taking care of ourselves is essential for the unique role we play as a Child Abuse Medical Professional. When we are fully present with ourselves and practice what we need for our own well-being, only then can we be fully present for the children and families we care for. This course is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and expand your self-knowledge and perspective. Becoming more rooted in your role through deepening your understanding of compassion in your work, will allow the growth of your branches toward their highest potential. The Caring with Compassion course can be completed all at once, or at your own pace. In addition, there is a 12-minute Trauma Sensitive Yoga Chair Practice video which offers a present-moment somatic experience to begin to address secondary traumatic stress that is often held in the body. This is an accessible practice with no prior experience necessary, and can be done at home or at work. ![]()
