Workplace Well-Being

Many factors in the workplace can contribute to well-being. The following are factors based on studies exploring well-being and Secondary Traumatic Stress in child welfare:
- Caseload or work volume
- Collegial and professional support involving two key points:
- Empathic attunement
- Keeping in check
- Professional hope and atmosphere
- Professional health behaviors (diet, sleep, life balance)
